Eligibility
Camp Extreme Tours is open to all teenagers between the ages of 13-17! All campers are welcome regardless of gender, race, religion, national origin or creed. Camp Extreme Tours strives to provide a harmonious environment to ensure an enjoyable and an exciting experience for each camper. Teens that cannot promise to abide by the guidelines or cooperate with a group are not encouraged to attend Camp Extreme Tours. Campers which require special attention or have a disability are not discouraged from attending camp; however, we ask that parents contact the director before registering to determine whether or not we obtain the necessary resources to accommodate them.

Health Care
Our staff takes priority in making sure your child’s camp experience is accident and illness free. However, in the event that something should happen, we are prepared and well trained. All of our staff is CPR and First-Aid certified, to treat minor cuts, scrapes, and illnesses. In the event of sickness or an emergency the parent will be notified as soon as possible. Any camper that comes down with a major illness or injury may have to be sent home. If your child has to be sent home, it will be at the parent’s expense, which will include the flight cost from the nearest airport. In the past summers of Camp Extreme Tours, no child has had to be sent home.

Our staff is familiar with the location of hospitals in our activity areas, and in the event of a major injury, your child will be taken to the nearest hospital. Because of the nature of Camp Extreme’s activities, hospital care may not be immediately available in some locations and is important to keep in mind. Our staff will always carry a satellite phone which works in all remote areas for emergency situations.

During check-in be sure to provide any additional medical information that isn’t addressed in the camper health form. If your child is required to bring medications to camp, be sure to turn them in during check-in. Medication must be in its original container with specific instructions.

Communication
Parents are encouraged to communicate to campers through e-mail. E-mail will be checked and distributed daily when service is available. It is important to keep in mind that computer time and access may be limited due to the nature of the camp.  Campers may also hand write-letters if desired, though it will be limited due to the lack of postal locations. Parents may contact the camp cell phone for emergencies 24 hours a day. Contact information will be given upon registration. No cell phones or laptops are allowed at camp.

Transportation
The first day of camp will meet in Tallahassee, Florida. Parents may bring their children or send them by bus or plane to Tallahassee. Transportation from the bus station and airport will be provided by Camp Extreme Tours at no additional charge! If parents choose this method, an itinerary should be sent to the camp office as soon as reservations are made.

Refund Policy
All deposits are non-refundable. If a parent wishes to withdraw their child from camp, the full amount minus the $200 deposit will be refunded. In the case of serious injury or illness, the loss will be shared equally by the parents and the camp. The director reserves the right to dismiss any camper who repeatedly violates camp rules, or is behaving in a manner that is, or has the potential to be, detrimental to the general welfare of fellow campers and/or staff.  In this situation no refund will be given.  Campers will never be forced to participate in an activity if they are not comfortable doing so, and will not be negatively judged for their decision; though regardless of the situation, the cost of the activity, or activities, will not be refunded.   In the case of a serious illness, injury, family emergency, or misconduct dismissal; the camper’s parent/guardian will be responsible for any transportation costs from the nearest airport, or bus station, to their desired destination.
